Meet Leanne
Hi, I’m Leanne — founder of Hart2heart Wellbeing.
My journey
With more than 20 years’ experience across People & Culture, leadership, wellbeing and psychosocial safety, I’ve had the privilege of working globally and locally, guiding leaders through workplace challenges and change in over 25 countries.
It’s taken me from boardrooms to operational sites and given me experience across corporate organisations, privately owned business, not-for-profit, social purpose organisations and local government.
I’ve specialised in people and culture, senior management, leadership development, training, health, safety and workplace wellbeing program design.
I’ve also served as a Board Chair of a not-for-profit organisation providing proactive PTSD education for the partners and families of frontline responders.
My practical experience is complemented by qualifications including a Master of Management, certification of Embodiment Coaching, a Cert IV in Fitness, a Diploma in Exercise Science & Fitness Management and teacher certification in Hatha, Trauma-informed and Community yoga.
Why this work matters to me
I’ve seen the the impact of what can happen when psychosocial harm or poor leadership practices aren’t adequately understood or addressed.
But it was seeing two friends experience psychological injuries from work that hit me deeply. I saw first hand the devastating and debilitating impact that harmful workplace behaviours, ongoing stress, work demands and disconnection can have.
That led me to the work I do now - looking more broadly at all the things that can impact a person’s experience and wellbeing at work, so that others don’t have to experience what my two friends did.
How I work
As a trauma-informed facilitator, I bring a practical, human and heart-centred approach to helping people, teams and organisations to improve workplace wellbeing and reduce psychological harm.
My approach brings together organisational experience, embodied practice and a genuine interest in how people experience work. Whether I’m helping an organisation understand its psychosocial risks or supporting a leader through a challenge, I’m interested in what’s happening beneath the surface — and what can be done to make things better.
A little more about me
A healthy life balance underpins everything I do and when I’m not guiding my wonderful clients, you might find me recharging on a run or hike, reconnecting with nature, losing myself in good live music, planning an adventure or restoring on my much-loved yoga mat.
